It was a special trim that year. I really don't think it's anything special, but it's apparently 1 of 1500.

Special Touring Option. Added new wheels and tires and a shift knob among other things. IIRC they only made about 2000 of them, so this actually might not be such a bad deal depending on mileage...

Whats the diff between this and an M edition which both seem to have been made in the same model year for 1996 if the ad is accurate.

Considering the rarity and general condition, I'd say NP.

It's gotta be an 07

Looks like a different color and different options. Less of them were made

Some also call it 'stuff taken off'. No lsd or cruise being the main points.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

the Ms have nicer interiors, nicer BBS wheels, and all have limited slip diffs. instead of it just being an option like most Miatas.

Nice Price, get them to fix the windshield and then talk price. I'd go for it if i was in the area

Not terrible but it doesn't come with an lsd from the factory, but it was only one of 1500 cars made. Also its really a 97. Doesn't give miles for it but i'm leaning towards NP

I'm very tempted. I might at least email the guy about the miles.
Really not ready to buy, but it's hard to pass up...

If its under 120k - 130k i'd say go check it out in person. I'd jump on that car.

Depends on the miles. But that is a NP if you don't mind missing the LSD.

I'm in the camp that thinks that outside of Oppo, everyone of us should be saying "OMG! LOW HORSEPOWER GIRL CAR! CRACK PIPE!" to encourage low, low prices. imagine a world where Miatas are plentiful and cheap for the true enthusiast. that said, depending on the mileage and mechanical condition, fair price. unless the thing is show car quality, which I doubt, then special trims do nothing for me value-wise. maintenance records, on the other hand...

If the mileage isn't obscene this is about what I'd expect for an NA. Being a special trim is just a bonus

and, honestly, the car is ~20 years old. I'd value service records and a pre-purchase inspection more than low mileage. it's not like a non-abused, well maintained Miata won't go about 250-300k miles before needing a ring and valve job, let alone a full tear down.
